Return Instructions

Electrolarynx and Amplifier orders placed online have a 30 day money back guarantee, less shipping charges. There may be a restocking fee, if the product does not look exactly like new. This is typically 10% or less, and is fully dependent upon the condition of the product and product packaging, and if any components require replacing. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, use our Contact page, or call customer service at 1-800-330-5969, and we will work to satisfy you. International customers should use our email Contact form or our direct line, 951-695-6727 during 9am-4pm (M-F) business hours in California.

You must contact us to receive an RMA before we will accept a return. Once authorized, you must ship within 5 days. No returns will be accepted for any product that has been disassembled or tampered with.

Amplifier Repair Shipping Instructions:

Please call our customer service number at 1-800-330-5969 prior to shipping your device in. Many issues may be resolved over the phone. In the event that we determine your amplifier needs servicing, please ship your instrument to us (insured) with a note containing the following information:

Name :
Phone number :
Serial number of the device (located on the back of the device):
Complete description of your concern:
Do NOT include batteries, charger, or other accessories unless instructed to do so, or if you have battery and charging issues.

If you include all of this information, it will help us repair and ship your unit on the same day that it arrives.
Please note that we strongly recommend UPS or FedEx. These companies provide tracking information and services that are not available through the Postal Service. Griffin Laboratories assumes no responsibility for package(s) lost in transit. For questions regarding the delivery of your device, please contact your courier service.
Our standard return service is either UPS Ground or Priority Mail. If you include a check for $20 for SoniVox(r) amp or $25 for BoomVox(r) amp, we will upgrade the shipping service to UPS 2-Day Air.

Out of Warranty Repairs:

If you are not certain that your warranty is still valid, you may contact our customer service center via phone (1-800-330-5969) or e-mail, to verify the warranty term applicable to your device.

Repair Payment: We do not repair devices without prepayment. To expedite repairs, you have several options:
1. You may include a check to cover the cost of repair. We will return the check, with your repaired device, if the device is covered under warranty. If your check exceeds the actual repair fee, we will refund the difference.
2. You may include credit card information with the repair. We will only charge actual repair costs.
3. We may call you with the repair fee, and you can provide us with a credit card. Note that this may delay the repair service, since we cannot begin until after we contact you.

Repair Fees: Level 1: $40.00**
Includes a basic tune up and cleaning.
Level 2: $70.00**
Includes a basic tune up and cleaning. Also covers the replacement of two major components internally, such as the volume control or the microphone jack.
Level 3: $100.00**
Includes a basic tune up and cleaning. Also covers the replacement of an entire circuit board.
Level 4: $150.00**
Call for extensive repair instructions.

The above mentioned fees include return shipping via UPS Ground or Priority Mail Service.
To upgrade to UPS 2-Day Air, Add $20.00 for the SoniVox(r) amp and $25 for the BoomVox(r) amp.

** Posted repair prices are applicable only to US Customers.
Fees may be waived, with the exception of shipping upgrades, for U.S. Customers with repairs covered under warranty.
